Elemental forces rage across the Forgotten Realms! Wizards of the Coast partnered with Sasquatch Game Studio to create this latest iteration of the classic Elemental Evil adventure.

Princes of the Apocalypse is a sandbox-style adventure that takes place in the region of the Realms known as the North. What starts as a mystery eventually turns into potentially earth-shaking danger, while cults and factions vie for control of the region. Learn more about the Princes of the Apocalypse at Wizards of the Coast, including a free download of the Elemental Evil Player’s Companion, which contains new character options that tie directly to the themes of the adventure.

In this unique arrangement between Sasquatch Game Studio and Wizards of the Coast, Sasquatch was tasked with creating the adventure and player-focused material, from outlining through editing, while the D&D team at Wizards provided feedback and approvals.

The adventure and the bulk of the player material was designed and written by the Sasquatches – Rich Baker, David Noonan, and Stephen Schubert – along with contributions from honorary ‘squatches Robert Schwalb, Ed Greenwood, Steve Townshend, Thomas M. Reid, and Jeff Ludwig.

SGS also provided art direction, using artists that we’d worked with before on Primeval Thule, as well as other artists whose work we’d admired. Those artists include:

Our esteemed cartographers for this project were Mike Schley and Sean Macdonald.
